Community arts hub & pub

Art. Music. Culture.

An independent, community-driven pub and arts venue on Ebrington Street, nurturing local culture since 2013.

Welcome to the Bread & Roses

The Bread and Roses Community Arts Hub CIC is an independent, community-driven pub and arts venue in Plymouth, dedicated to nurturing local culture since 2013. We provide a welcoming, inclusive platform for artistic expression through a vibrant programme of Jazz events, Open Mic sessions, Folk Music Mondays, Poetry and Comedy nights, artisan craft fairs, a rotating art gallery, DJs and more.

Our mission is to champion creativity, support emerging musicians and artists, and remain a home for diverse voices at the heart of Plymouth's cultural life.

Hearts starve as well as bodies; give us bread, but give us roses.
